Nothing is more exciting than watching children discover the world around them. Our curriculums are tailored to the interests of each class, carefully designed to strengthen their weaknesses and strengths. Creative teaching leads to creative learning and this is accomplished through the use of fine & gross motor activities, stories, songs and movement.
Country Grove strongly believes that each child should be allowed to grow and develop at their own pace. Special attention is given to social-emotional skills with lots of love and encouragement from our caregivers. Our loving and dedicated staff use positive guidance techniques to nurture a healthy self image and self esteem. We will encourage their natural curiosity by offering developmentally progressive programs, which allow exploration and growth of their own natural abilities.
Will be provided with a separate sleeping and playing area. A minimum of one care provider/teacher will be with every 4 infants at all times. Children will be provided with a safe and loving environment. Each child will have his own crib. Staff will interact and provide stimulating play which promotes awareness of child's surroundings. We pride ourselves with the special care our little ones receive.
When a child is walking & at least 12 months old, we will transition him/her over to a more stimulating and age-appropriate program to allow the child to discover and explore his/her surroundings. We will continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment. A minimum of one care provider/teacher will be with every 4 waddlers.
Will be provided with a wide range of age appropriate toys, arts and crafts, sensory activities, gross motor play and other stimulating activities. A minimum of one care provider/teacher will be with every 5 toddlers at all times.
We are fortunate to offer a transitional preschool room. This room will have a more relaxed introduction to our traditional pre-school room. This program will focus more on cooperative and social behavior, guiding each child in developing the tools they need in becoming a good friend and teaching them the appropriate ways to share. Emphasis will also be on colors and shapes. The staff ratio will be 1:5.
This service will provide a developmentally challenging curriculum. Shapes, colors, numbers, letter sounds and recognition being our main focus at circle time. Our table centers will consist of a variety of sensory and small manipulative activities. We will incorporate plenty of opportunity for free-play as well, which will provide social development. The staff ratio will be 1:7
This program focuses on development of fine dexterity and gross motor skills providing each child with individual growth in cognitive, social and physical development. Strong emphasis on phonics and writing to prepare for all the necessary kindergarten common core curriculum. The staff ratio will be 1:8
Our K-6 friends are provided time to complete homework before going outside to burn their stored up energy! We offer a variety of outdoor activities, including sports and gardening. Indoor activities will include arts & crafts, cooking, and monitored computer use. Our K-6 programs include all school closings & delays, as well as summer camp. Transportation available for all Arlington elementary and middle schools!
